Robotics has nothing to do with birds. At least,that is what we think,but a group of researchers has built a robotic hummingbird wing to discover the particular way this tiny jewels fly.
They have discovered that hummingbirds create two vortices,one on each side of its wing,so they can attain the necessary lift forces.
Problems shows up when hummingbirds face wing gusts that pull the vortices out of their place,therefore creating a great instability. But they are not that silly,researchers have discovered that hummingbirds change their wing angles to cope with that.
